Cara Benson presents An Armsfull of Birds with Amy Halloran: Friday, May 15th at 6pm

I’m particularly excited for this one as it’s my hometown area of sorts (even though I’m over the river, through the woods, and up on a mountain from Albany). And it’s happening before actual pub date! I’ve been assured Book House will have books on hand, though that hasn’t stopped me from being nervous about it. Speaking of the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza, I love this store. As the facilitator of the Honest Weight Food Co-op book club, I work with them all the time. They make sure to have extra copies of the books we choose and feature them in store. They also offer them at a discount for book club readers. How great is that? Long live independent book stores!
